It’s updated daily, throughout the year, and regularly features results and news from around the rugby world. During the World Cup, its team will go into overdrive to keep fans happy as the tournament gets into swing.

 

It’s great to use, and you can even personalise the news you see depending on your tastes. All told, we think this is a great fan-made initiative, though you’ll need to ignore the annoying ads that occasionally hamper your experience.

It seems there hasn’t been a World Cup – in any sporting code – without an accompanying app of late, and WC 2015 is no different.

 

IRB’s Rugby World Cup Mobile App presents the official verdict on the world game. It’s available to download already and sports a sleek presentation and user-friendly interface. For our money though, Ultimate Rugby has more heart and soul, though if you’re only interested in the World Cup, the Official App will be just what you’re looking for.
